So October is finally done and what a Month is has been for GameJunkster. We are in our 4th month now and do not seem to be slowing down at all, and we are looking forward to November to be just as exciting as before. With some big games coming out in the next few weeks we definitely have our work cut out for us but we know we will strive. One thing we wanted to try new this month and months going forward is the way Roundups worked, we feel that these are still beneficial but we have decided to go from weekly to monthly to give you a better idea of what is going on. Along with that we are going to try and give you the heads up as to what to expect from GameJunkster in the following month as well as some observed accomplishments that came along with the site. We are open to any and all feedback from you the readers and we would love to hear from you. With that said let’s get this October Roundup under way.
Observed Accomplishments
One of the major accomplishments this month for us is how many visitors we had excited from September. Whether that be from social media site such as Reddit, Stumble or from you finding us on the Search Engines. This is exciting for us as it is our goal to always excite the previous month’s numbers. We have also seen a nice large jump in the amount of people subscribing to our RSS Feed, our twitter, our YouTube and most importantly our Facebook. We went from a mere 10-12 fans on Facebook to a astonishing 32, while some might say big whoop for a site that was barely 3 months old this is a huge accomplishment. Now it’s time to tackle that 50 fan mark.
Goals for November:
One thing I don’t think many gaming sites do and perhaps they don’t really have to, is list out some goals the site has for the coming month(s). This is something I feel strongly about as it will show you the readers that we are always trying to better ourselves for you. Again this is a great time to give us your feedback as to what you liked or what you didn’t/don’t like about the site. Here are some of our goals for November:
- Increase the number of Game Reviews
- Increase the number of Game News/Previews
- Increase Site Traffic
- Increase Site exposure (Social media, other)
- Look into incentivizing Guest Posters
- Look into some sort of Contest
While much of these may not seem like hardcore goals when it comes to a site with little to no budget as of right we have to start small. Hopefully when December rolls around we will be able to add even more goals to this list and even mark some of them off.
Now for those of you that may have missed what GameJunkster has been doing this October here is a comprehensive list of what we have been up to.
