Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) started opening up the gates today for people interested in signing up for the upcoming DC Universe MMO scheduled to come out in November of this year. SOE better known for their Star Wars Galaxy and Everquest games recently just cut their development staff by 4% but it doesn’t appear to be phasing them to much.
No specific date for the beta has been released though I would assume we could hear something this week sometime with Comic Con right around the corner. There is a good chance that SEO will be releasing the testing in phases similar to what The Old Republic is doing.

Game seems like a very cool concept and the trailer looks awesome… My only worry is that it is being taken care of by SOE who has never seemed to pay much attention to their community and their needs until it was to late. I will however try and get into the beta to give it a shot because I am that much of a sucker for games like this.
