As a fan of all FPS games, and the Medal of Honor series I have high hopes that this game will put Call of Duty in its place. (I am not a CoD fanboy, or hater. But I can hardly call it the best FPS ever. “Yeah, I said it. Watcha gonna do about it?”)
My top ten issues so far with the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta.
- The overall feel of the character seems overly heavy. (as in, running around as if I weigh 400 lbs)
- Some of the sounds are a little over the top, and beyond hollywood style. (just my opinion though)
- Class customization is weak. really weak. I see almost no benefit to gaining XP.
- The Radar sucks, really bad. White arrows on a gray radar, its almost hard to see them.
- Kabul is a horribly laid out map, and needs to be redone. (Reminds me of most maps in CoD:MW2, in which you seem to constantly spawn next to enemies)
- Ok, we understand the whole you are teir 1 motto now, but using it for every little thing is not so nifty. Its beginning to annoy me.
- The support actions seem to be shown on almost an xbox360 style D-Pad. I had to go to the options just to figure out what key it is to use them.
- Make up your mind, realism or fast paced action. Don’t do both.
- I still have yet to figure out who the hell I’ve killed, either its not working or its somewhere I cant see fast enough.
- Weapons are imbalanced.

As an aspiring Game designer, these are my own thoughts and issues and if it were my decision I would change every item on this list to how I feel they should be. So with that ending statement you can take everything I’ve said here with a grain of salt and give the beta a try and with a couple of fixes, this game could be great.

From what I have experienced in the Beta , I have to agree 100%. This game just does not live up to the hype.My biggest rant is that the maps are too damn small. Why should I play this when I can play Battlefield Bad Company 2?
Or better yet Battlefield 2.
I want to thank the guys at EA for releasing the Beta version to the public and saving me $60.
It will be interesting to see what Activision will bring to the table with Black Ops; now that their Infinity Ward team pretty much quit on them. I Hope they can do better than EA!
